Until; that is; the appearance of a frantic mother who cannot find her child. As time passes; it becomes clear that the chances of getting Beth back unharmed are very bleak indeed..
This series is charmingly written. It's from a single person's experience of sorting out murders on her own, but does get help from friends at times. Loved it.
An excellent series - showing the progression of Rose as she becomes more confident and establishes herself as an artist - while helping solve the odd murder or two, of course, and dealing with the men who want to tie her down
